Harmood School

Harmood is a special education school in the heart of Camden. Green spaces are very limited, and we will aim to make it as vibrant as we can. Planters will house spring bulbs and insect-friendly plants. The front garden will be transformed by contractors in autumn '23, and we hope to make a positive impact there too.

Ideas
  • Spring bulbs
  • Cut flowers
  • Bee-friendly perennials

SUCCESS!

Growing Green has been awared £700 from the Veolia Sustainability Fund for our project at Harmood School. Veolia also delivered bags of compost that are much needed. Work at Harmood will take place mid December.

What the site looks now

Planters usually have evergreen shrubs or remain empty. We want to bring some colour and the seasons back by adding spring bulbs, summer and autumn flowering perennials and ferns where light levels are low.
